The residents and businesses of San Bernardino County, like other areas of the nation and world, have been deeply affected by the Coronavirus pandemic and the growing attention on systemic racism.
San Bernardino County not only has been dealing with the effects of physical and mental illness and death amongst its population but also has responded as the first county in California to adopt a resolution declaring racism a public health crisis.
This resolution was adopted by the County Board of Supervisors following the global response to the May 25, 2020 death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, and the impact of COVID-19 on the Black community, during discussions with local community advocates.
Confirmed panelists for the discussion will include:
·   US Congressman Gil Cisneros
·   Chino City Councilman Paul Rodriguez
·   Administrative Law Judge II Margery L. Melvin
·   Executive Director of the African-American Museum of Beginnings Khalif Anderson Gordon Rasshan
